Movement is the freedom of the body; stillness, of the mind.

Marty Rubin
About This Quote

Movement is the freedom of the body; stillness, of the mind. Movement is action, and stillness is inaction. Both are necessary for life. All of us move all of the time.

However, we don’t always act. Sometimes, we fall into a state of inaction, and this is what causes us grief. We want to act but because we are inactive, we can’t.

If we were always active, then we wouldn’t feel that sinking feeling of guilt when we don’t act.
